Description
Staked spot versus hedged perp. Yield is the residual after hedge cost — it can be negative.
Harvest positive funding when basis is rich; cut inventory overnight around event risk.
Process
Re-hedge hourly. Pause around network upgrades. Max 1.2x notional.
Custody
Capital enters a MAIN illustration account, subscription moves to STRATEGY, exits return to MAIN then redeem. Segregation is illustrative.

Hedge cost check: staking yield 3.4% on ETH and 6.9% on SOL; perp funding cost this week 1.8% annualised. Net residual about 6%. The 14-day lockup is doing its job: we did not have to unwind into the August basis compression.

If SOL staking yield keeps rising, would you go above 50% SOL?

    • Mira ChenManager7 Sept 2026

The cap is 55% per leg. Yield alone does not move us past it; the hedge cost on the SOL perp is the other half of the equation.

Tilted two points from ETH to SOL on the staking-yield gap. Hedges rolled with it.

Network-upgrade pause: how long are we flat around the next SOL upgrade?

    • Mira ChenManager5 Sept 2026

48 hours either side. It costs about 0.1% of annual carry and it is the difference between a yield product and an incident.

August letter: +2.4% for the month. Staking 1.1%, funding paid −0.3%, basis 1.6%. Two upgrade pauses of 48 hours each. No unwinds during the basis compression, thanks to the lockup.

    • Nathan ParkDepositor · 2026-0331 Aug 2026

The line-item split is what makes this readable. Most 'yield' products give you one number and a shrug.

Redeemed 4.5k for a house deposit and kept the rest. Redemption queued and paid T+1 after the lockup, as the factsheet says. Small things matter.

    • Nathan ParkDepositor · 2026-0328 Aug 2026

The T+1 actually being T+1 is why I moved my ETH here from a CEX earn product.
