This website is a product demo. It is not an offer, a solicitation, investment advice or brokerage, and institution names, licence marks and performance figures are fictional or simulated. Using the one-click demo account means you accept that your data lives only in this browser's local state and never reaches a live identity or custody backend.

1.Who these terms are between

1.1“Orbit”, “we” and “us” mean the operator of this website and the account, vault-listing and Agent services reachable from it. “You” means the person using them, on your own behalf or for an entity you are authorised to bind.

1.2By opening an account, connecting a wallet, or continuing to browse past the risk notice, you agree to these terms, the risk disclosure and the privacy policy. If you do not agree with any part of them, stop using the service.

1.3Where an entity uses Orbit, the individual accepting these terms warrants that they hold the authority to do so, and both the individual and the entity are bound.

2.The status of this demo

2.1Orbit as published here is a product demonstration. No client money is held, no order reaches a venue, and no vault unit shown carries a claim on any real asset.

2.2Every manager, institution, licence mark, holding, price and track record on the site is illustrative. Similarity to a real desk or a real instrument is a design choice, not a representation of fact.

2.3Where the interface uses regulatory vocabulary — segregation, dealing day, high-water mark, verification — it is describing an intended product, not asserting that the arrangement exists today.

2.4Nothing here is an offer or invitation to buy or sell any security, collective investment scheme, virtual asset or derivative, in any jurisdiction where such an offer would require authorisation we do not hold.

3.Eligibility and restricted persons

3.1You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a binding contract in your place of residence.

3.2You may not use Orbit if you are located in, ordinarily resident in, or acting for a person in a jurisdiction where accessing it would breach local law, or where we have blocked access.

3.3You may not use Orbit if you appear on a sanctions list maintained by the United Nations, the European Union, the United Kingdom, the United States or Hong Kong, or if you act for a person who does.

3.4Some vaults are restricted to professional or accredited investors. Where a restriction is shown on the vault's terms card, meeting it is a condition of subscribing.

4.Your account, identity and wallet

4.1You are responsible for the accuracy of what you tell us at onboarding and for keeping it current. Identity checks may be repeated where information becomes stale or where activity does not match the profile on file.

4.2You are responsible for the security of your credentials, your device and any wallet you connect. A signature made by a connected wallet is treated as your instruction.

4.3We never ask for a seed phrase, a private key or a password. Any message that does is not from us; report it and do not respond.

4.4One person may hold one account. Accounts may not be sold, shared, rented or operated on behalf of an undisclosed third party.

4.5Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access. We may suspend an account while a report is investigated.

5.What Orbit does, and what it does not do

5.1Orbit operates a marketplace and a verification desk. It lists vaults, publishes their books and their records, and runs the checks behind the marks shown next to a manager or an institution.

5.2Orbit does not manage a vault, select its positions, or exercise discretion over your capital. Each vault is run by its own manager under the terms published on that vault's page.

5.3Orbit does not provide investment advice or a personal recommendation. Screening tools, rankings, comparisons and Agent output describe data; they do not tell you what is suitable for you.

5.4A verification mark is a statement about identity and books, not an endorsement of returns. A verified vault can lose money.

5.5We may add, change, restrict or withdraw features, and may delist a vault, without notice where continued listing would mislead or would breach a rule we are bound by.

6.Subscriptions, dealing and redemptions

6.1A deposit is an instruction to subscribe for units in the vault you selected, at the valuation struck on the applicable dealing day. It is not a deposit with Orbit and carries no interest.

6.2Subscriptions and redemptions are processed on the vault's published dealing calendar, subject to any lockup, notice period and minimum ticket shown on its terms card.

6.3A redemption may be delayed, scaled back or suspended where the manager cannot realise positions in an orderly way, where a gate published in the vault's terms applies, or where a venue the vault relies on halts.

6.4Vault capacity may be capped. Where a subscription would breach a cap, it may be scaled back or refused.

6.5Once a subscription or redemption instruction has been submitted for a dealing day it cannot generally be cancelled, because the manager is trading against it.

6.6Where a manager stops operating a vault, it moves to redeem-only, positions are unwound under the published process, and capital returns to the main account. The desk posts that notice on the vault's page.

7.Fees and charges

7.1The fees that apply to a vault are published on the fees page and on that vault's terms card. Subscribing is acceptance of those fees.

7.2Running fees accrue on net asset value whether the vault gains or loses. Performance fees and profit shares apply only above your high-water mark.

7.3Agent subscriptions are billed separately from vault fees, on the plan you chose, and do not entitle you to any share of a vault's result.

7.4Network fees on deposits and redemptions are passed through at cost. Taxes arising from your use of Orbit are yours to assess and pay.

7.5We give at least 30 days' notice before a platform fee increases. A manager changing a vault's own fees does so under that vault's terms, which may allow a different notice period.

8.The Orbit Agent

8.1The Agent is a software tool. It summarises data, screens the catalogue and drafts actions; it does not know your circumstances and does not give advice.

8.2Agent output can be wrong, incomplete or out of date, including where it cites a number. Check anything you intend to act on against the underlying record.

8.3Where you let the Agent place or schedule an instruction, that instruction is yours, and the vault's dealing rules apply to it exactly as if you had entered it by hand.

8.4Usage is metered in credits under the plan you hold. Credits have no cash value, are not refundable and expire at the end of the cycle in which they were granted.

9.Acceptable use

9.1Do not attempt to gain unauthorised access to any account, system or dataset, or probe, scan or load-test the service without written permission.

9.2Do not scrape, mirror or resell the catalogue, the books, the records or the rankings, or use them to train a model, without written permission.

9.3Do not post content that is unlawful, misleading about a track record, defamatory, or that discloses another person's positions or identity without their consent.

9.4Do not use Orbit to launder money, to finance terrorism, to evade sanctions, or to disguise the beneficial ownership of capital.

9.5Do not manipulate a ranking, a discussion or a verification process, including through duplicate accounts or coordinated posting.

10.Content you post

10.1You keep ownership of the notes, comments and materials you post. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display and distribute them on the service.

10.2You are responsible for what you post, including any claim you make about performance. Managers posting to a vault's desk are held to the disclosure rules published there.

10.3We may remove content that breaches these terms or that a regulator, a court or a rights holder asks us to remove, and may keep a copy where a record is required.

11.Intellectual property

11.1The interface, the brand, the data model, the verification methodology and the written material on Orbit belong to us or to our licensors.

11.2You get a personal, revocable, non-transferable licence to use the service for its intended purpose. Nothing else is granted, by implication or otherwise.

11.3Feedback you send us may be used without obligation or payment, and does not transfer any of your own rights.

12.Third parties

12.1Managers, institutions, custodians, venues, data vendors, chains and payment providers are independent of us. Their acts and omissions are theirs.

12.2Links and integrations are offered for convenience. We do not control third-party sites and are not responsible for their content or their terms.

12.3Where a third party fails, we will do what we reasonably can to help you pursue it, but we do not assume its obligations.

13.Suspension and termination

13.1You may close your account at any time, subject to settling open instructions and to any lockup still running on a vault you hold.

13.2We may suspend or close an account where these terms are breached, where an identity check cannot be completed, where we are required to by law, or where activity presents an unacceptable risk of fraud or market abuse.

13.3Where we close an account without cause, we will give reasonable notice and will not use closure to avoid an obligation already owed to you.

13.4Clauses that by their nature should survive termination — fees already accrued, liability, governing law — do survive it.

14.Disclaimers and limitation of liability

14.1The service is provided as it stands. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, that data will be free of error, or that any result shown will be repeated.

14.2We are not liable for investment losses arising from a vault's performance, from a manager's decisions, or from your own decision to subscribe or redeem.

14.3We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for loss of profit or opportunity, or for loss caused by an event beyond our reasonable control, including a chain, venue or network failure.

14.4Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, for fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

14.5Where liability is not excluded, it is capped at the total platform fees you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.

15.Changes to these terms

15.1We may update these terms. The revision line at the top of this page shows the version in force and the date it took effect.

15.2Material changes are notified in the product at least 30 days before they take effect, unless a shorter period is required by law or by a security need.

15.3Continuing to use Orbit after a change takes effect is acceptance of the updated terms. If you do not accept them, close your account before the effective date.

16.Governing law, disputes and contact

16.1These terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, and the courts of Hong Kong have exclusive jurisdiction, without prejudice to any right you have to bring a claim in your place of residence.

16.2Raise a complaint with us first, at hello@the-orbit.xyz. We acknowledge complaints within two business days and aim to resolve them within thirty.

16.3Legal notices to us go to the same address, marked for the attention of the legal desk. Notices to you go to the email on your account.
